  • When it comes to accidents, automobile insurance rules are usually consistent from state to state with one exception. This type of liability insurance pays damages to the other driver of the vehicle, as well as the cost of repair or replacement of a fence post, mailbox, garage, shed or other type of building.
  • Bodily injury liability insurance pays for medical costs for your passengers or people in another vehicle.
